Hip-hop on the Kolín – Vršovice route. He started writing his lyrics already at the age of thirteen and after twenty long years, this highest Czech rapper (208 cm!) released his debut album entitled Hlavu vzhůru last year. His thoughtful and clever lyrics do not glorify themselves, yet attract with their onomatopoetic rhymes. They remind us of Kato from Prago Union for their focus on content and their manner of speech. Musically, Galen ,who also introduced his production at the Hip Hop Kemp last year, makes clear that he is close to soul, r’n’b and jazz. Hip-hop for those of you who like to avoid purposeless vulgarities and exaggerated gestures.
