This band of six from Ústí nad Labem launched their debut single Lepricon in early May. They sound fresh and not consumed and they combine British indie guitar with expressive singing and spliced “ska” rhythm. These are boys from a music class who dug the eternal desire of Czech bands for the perfect funky by an imperfect perception of indie-rock. They morphed a cup of bitterness into a cup of consolation.
