Velvety timbre and distinctive soulful expression is what draws the listener with the Slovak jazz singer after just a few bars. Her music is full of tension and emotions. An unusual power and imaginative arrangements reveal that love for jazz is no dogma here, rather a base added by alternative elements and blues moods. Non-jazz compositions are not an exception and the multi-genre approach fits even the interpretations of Slovak folk songs. Sisa sings in several ensembles and projects (Feher Rocher, Pitch Bender, Mya, Used to Be a Sofa …). Last year, she performed in London for some time in London and this spring, she recorded her new album Cirrus. What surprises will she bring to the Střelecký ostrov?
