All things tick and flow, form layers and waves, combine and divide with accuracy, cleanness and inspiration. This is what Bitosti sounds like, a nu-jazz ensemble from Prague tainted with drum’n’bass. The pun in the name might easily lead to the simple universe of ones and zeros, yet nothing could be more wrong. A quartet of young yet most proficient and creative artists is presenting a colorful world of energetic beats, rich melodies and varied impressions reaching beyond jazz. They are one of the most ardent currents in the river of contemporary Czech jazz and alternative music.
