Piano was originally established as a solo project of the songwriter, singer and producer Mikoláš Růžička (Republic of Two, Jan Burian & Křehcí muži). After the release of his debut album in 2012, other musicians from related bands were invited and a regular concert ensemble was built. The ensemble recorded their second released album called Theia at the end of 2015. The thoughtful, sometimes almost dream-pop music relies on soulfulness and poetics. All fighters with stress and ambient lovers certainly appreciate the relaxation effects. However, Piano currently sounds much roughed and is able to rock up to an energetic indie rock.
