The American – Czech – Slovak quartet settled in Prague came together in 2013 with the inspiration of the Portico Quartet. They received recognition thanks to a participation of the vocalist Ashley Abrman at the Red Bull Music Academy and also as a support band of the singers Nneka, Selah Sue, or the matadors Prago Union. They released their debut single called May last December under the Slovak label Gergaz, but even that was enough to become nominated as the Newcomer of the Year and as the Single of the Year in the Slovak Radio Head Awards. Soul moods, inventive electronics and a little of hip-hop – these are the ingredients of which the formation cooks. The success of their single on Radio Expres, Radio 1 or the Slovak FM Radio speaks for itself.
