Filip Kottek and Dj Akvamen connect their art of playing the violin and Dj-ing to a unique show. Filip Kottek is a young violinist, a music composer and a pioneer of the unique connection of violinist and DJ. He graduated from the Conservatory of Jaroslav Ježek while currently studying composition at the Conservatory of the City of Prague. He also works in the Pilsen Philharmonic orchestra, in the Symphony orchestra of Karlovy Vary and in several bands such as Vibes Orchestra, Tylečkovo sexteto or band of Roman Tomeš.
Dj Akvamen has been the principal DJ of Czech club scene already for 6 years. He played in the biggest Czech clubs and on the majority of both summer and winter festivals. In 2014, he founded a concept VIBES together with Jagermeister – the connection of live musicians and DJs. You can also listen to him every Thursday on the radio Spin or meet him at all unusual events. Genre-wise, Akvamen swims in the waters of rap, funk, disco and basically in any uncommercial music sphere.
