The band Rising Spirits was founded in autumn 2014 in the Prague´s district Smíchov with a goal to keep reggae alive even in our homeland. This group of old friends with a big love to music previously met already in the bands Lion Taxi Service, Urban Bushman or Tribe Town. After spending their winter season in a rehearsal room, Rising Spirits first performed on February 5, 2015 at the occasion of Bob Marley´s 70th birthday with a special tribute set which they later got to introduce also in Olomouc accompanied by colleagues from the HomebwoyRasta band.
